Full Story →

Cougs on the Couch is the home for WSU Cougars fans who want real analysis — not national media hot takes. Connor and Dylan dig into the two-deeps, the recruiting trail, the coaching decisions, and the moments that actually matter to Coug Nation. Football all season long, plus basketball, baseball, and every sport that flies the crimson and gray.

Host & Founder
Connor
The Couch GM

Connor's path to WSU started with his older brother — after visiting Pullman for Dad's Weekend, he chose the four-year university experience over playing community college baseball (he knew it wasn't going to pay the bills). 2016 grad, double major finance & marketing, full-time mortgage lender for 10 years. Launched The Couch GM 4.5 years ago; Cougs on the Couch is the Wazzu heart of that brand. Co-founded WSU Club Baseball with Dylan in fall 2015. Diehard Mariners fan who obsesses over the details of the sport.

Co-Creator & Co-Host
Dylan Haugh
Co-Creator

Cougs on the Couch exists because of Dylan. When the Pac-12 started collapsing, he saw what Connor was building with The Couch GM and pitched the idea: a dedicated WSU show inside the brand. That conversation became this show. 2017 Murrow grad, based in San Diego, co-founded WSU Club Baseball with Connor in fall 2015.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Cougs on the Couch?
Cougs on the Couch is the premier Washington State University Cougars sports podcast, hosted by Connor and co-hosted by Dylan Haugh. The show delivers in-depth analysis of WSU football, basketball, baseball, and recruiting — with the passion and insider perspective that only real Cougs fans can bring.
Where can I listen to the WSU Cougars podcast?
New episodes are available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Google Podcasts. Subscribe on YouTube for the full video experience. New episodes drop weekly during the football season, with content year-round.
Do you cover WSU football recruiting?
Absolutely. Recruiting and transfer portal coverage is a core part of Cougs on the Couch. We grade incoming transfers, evaluate high school commits, and give our honest takes on how WSU's roster is being built — all year long.
What sports do you cover beyond WSU football?
In addition to football, Cougs on the Couch covers WSU basketball, WSU baseball, Pac-12 conference news, and any Washington State athletics story worth discussing. Football is our home base, but we follow all of Coug Nation's sports.
Is Cougs on the Couch affiliated with WSU or the Pac-12?
Cougs on the Couch is an independent fan podcast — not affiliated with Washington State University or the Pac-12. That independence is what lets us say exactly what we think, call out bad decisions, and give takes that university-affiliated media can't.
How often do you release new episodes?
We publish new episodes weekly during football season, and regularly throughout the offseason with recruiting updates, draft coverage, basketball and baseball content, and preseason breakdowns. Subscribe on YouTube or any podcast platform to get notified.
